In 1924, Elsie Kitching reached out to mothers of homeschool families and asked them to share their experiences. These were families away from relatives and friends. Families without governesses or tutors. Families like ours.

These mothers from a hundred years ago wrote back and shared their stories. Today we bring those stories to life. Eight contemporary Charlotte Mason parents have read their letters for the Charlotte Mason Poetry podcast. Think of it as a gift to parents working hard to teach their children today; a gift that tells the story of Charlotte Mason in real life.
