“And one of you is a devil”

Jesus answered them, Did not I choose you the twelve, and one of you is a devil? Now he spake of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

To rage in hell-fire in some nether sphere:
What if the fiends we be should keep us mute
When words of love and trust should comrade cheer?
What if resentments raging without let
Should write us “Devils” in their ceaseless fret?
