Stories That Last
The Influence of Learning from Lives Well-Lived
The lives of others—both past and present—offer wisdom, courage, and faith for our own journeys. Charlotte Mason knew that biography is more than a history lesson; it is an invitation to walk alongside those who have gone before us, learning from their choices, struggles, and convictions. Through living books and personal narratives, we and our children gain insight, inspiration, and a vision for what is possible. In this talk, we explore how stories of well-lived lives leave a lasting imprint, how we can intentionally introduce biography into our children’s education, and why engaging with the lives of others deepens our understanding of the world and our place in it.
